Bike Shop Retailers

Bike Religion has provided tips, information, and expert advice concerning much of my touring gear. This trip is possible in large part to the guys at the shop, who gave me the extra time to make sure I was well prepared.

Downtube Bicycle Works has similarly provided me with tips and advice on long distance bike touring. Louie's Surly Long Haul Trucker was purchased at this store as well as other vital equipment necessary for this trip.

Joe's Bike Shop in Baltimore provided us with some solid help in regards to the third most important component of the bike (behind the bike and the paniers) - the racks. Surly Nice Front and Rear racks were purchased for this trip due to their strong material composition (100% steel) and solid recommendations from past bike tourers.

The Path Bike Shop functions as a traditional bike shop with part-swapping and good service all in the grand spirit of cyclingThey exceeded my expectations on what a bike shop can offer and I am grateful for their existence. My Surly Long Haul Trucker was purchased at this store.

I also used online retailers that I would like to mention here:
